Five Nights at Freddy’s by Scott Cawthon started as a cult video game with millions of followers worldwide. The series, abbreviated FNaF, is based in a restaurant called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Players work as security guards in a restaurant ruled by scary animatronic robots. During the day, the animatronics appear to be model employees. At night, things change, their deadly motive becomes clear, and the terror begins.

The scary animatronics and grim plot have captivated gamers and inspired a series of books. They are co-written by FNaF creator Scott Cawthorn and author Kira Breed-Wrisely.

The First Book The Silver Eyes begins ten years after Freddy Fazbear’s murders.  Charlie, the restaurant owner’s daughter, goes to Freddy’s with a group of friends. On the anniversary of the tragedy, they discover a whole new nightmare waiting to unravel. The next books follow the same Five Nights at Freddy’s characters. They continue their pursuit of the awful truth of what happened at Fazbear’s.

The trilogy is a must-read for both game lovers and horror fans. The creepy FNaF animatronics and killings make them a scary read for everyone. You don’t have to play the game to enjoy them.
