I’m Izabela, the author and avid book enthusiast behind this blog. I’ve always had an insatiable appetite for reading, and over the years, my passion for books has grown into an incredible journey that I’m excited to share with you all.

When it comes to my favorite book series, there are two that hold a special place in my heart. First and foremost, I absolutely adore Tony Hillerman’s Leaphorn & Chee Series. The way Hillerman masterfully weaves together intricate mysteries set in the Southwest captivates me every time (so much so that I’ve recently re-read all of the 26 books in the series 🤓). The rich cultural details and compelling characters make this series an absolute must-read.

My second favorite is the magical world of Harry Potter. Like many, I was enchanted by J.K. Rowling’s storytelling and the magical universe she created. Even after all these years, I find myself returning to Hogwarts time and time again.

Speaking of recent discoveries, I can’t recommend Yōko Ogawa’s works enough. “The Housekeeper and the Professor” is one of the books that left a profound impact on me. Ogawa’s eloquent prose and ability to evoke deep emotions through her stories have made me an ardent fan of her writing.

My love for reading started with my amazing mom. She’s been a librarian for as long as I can remember. I remember how she would sneak out new books before they were available on the library shelves, giving me just a few days to devour them. Those exciting challenges helped me become a fast reader and made me really love books.
