Natasha Preston is a British author, who spent the majority of her life in the English countryside. Many people called her Tash or Tasha, and the nickname stuck with her. She writes young adult fiction, romance, and thrillers, including “Silence,” “The Cellar,” and a number of stand-alone novels. Natasha, unlike many authors, did not grow up as an avid reader. She didn’t care about school and often got average grades. After school, she realized she was unqualified for many positions and ended up working in receptionist and administration jobs, which she found boring.
She became interested in writing in 2010 when as a hobby, she began writing on Wattpad. Natasha, who had previously only read school books, became captivated. She published her first novel, “Silence” in 2012 and has never looked back. Wattpad opened her eyes to what could be by providing an escape from her mundane life. It also gave her the courage to plunge into the life of writing.
Natasha Preston made her writing debut with “Silence,” which later became a series. Cole and Oakley are the series’ leads, and they both tell the story from their perspectives, which gives the book an intriguing ’s narrative. “Broken Silence” is the second novel in the series. It continues Oakley’s story as she is finally able to confront her traumatic past.
Natasha Preston now lives with her husband and 2 kids in England.
