Helen Hardt is a bestselling author, best known for her romantic novels. Her father was an amateur writer who inspired her to become a writer. At just six years old, she wrote her first tale. But it took her many years to eventually earn her publishing deal.
The author received her BA and JD from St. Olaf College and the University of Denver. Hardt began writing professionally in 2006 when she sought to finish a YA fantasy tale.
Reading a Nora Roberts story reminded her of all the reasons she enjoyed romantic plots. As a result, she made a genuine effort at writing a romance novel. In 2008, Hardt was finally offered a publishing contract.
Hardt published novels in the paranormal and historical sub-genres besides contemporary romance. She liked switching among subgenres, as she could push her creative boundaries. But as contemporary romance has a strong following, she devotes the majority of her time to it.
She has written several series, including the Steel Brothers Saga, Blood Bond Saga, and The Temptation Saga. Hardt isn’t opposed to creating standalone novels. But she prefers to write series since it allows her to become closer to her characters.
Right now she is writing from Colorado, where she resides with her family.
